We Are A Training Practice
Mayfield Medical Practice is proud to be an approved training practice.
We help trainees receive personalised tuition from an experienced GP who has had further training as an Educational Supervisor, as well as other members of the Primary Health Care Team.
GP Registrar or GP Trainee
Qualified doctors who are training to become a GP through a period of working and training in a GP practice.
They will usually have spent at least two years working in a hospital before you see them in a GP Practice and are closely supervised by a senior GP or trainer.
Students
We also support medical students and nursing students.
Patients will be notified if a student is present with the GP or Nurse. Patients are free to ask for the students to be excluded from their consultation, if preferred.
